Hello Hello I’m biba from Japan!
Currently live in NYC!
In this article, I would like to introduce Daniel, a two-Michelin star restaurant in New York City at 2023, along with a description of the experience!
What is Daniel?
Daniel restaurant is the restaurant of Daniel Boulud, a master of French cuisine and winner of the James Beard Award (an Academy Award in the U.S. culinary world).
Access
It is located in the Upper East, an upscale residential neighborhood.

What I am experiencing
This time we decided to try the Lounge.
We looked at the a la carte menu, but it was too much trouble to choose by ourselves and it was a great opportunity,
We chose the 7-course menu.
For more information about the 7-course menu, click here.
Finally, mini madeleines (seems to be a specialty),
canele as a souvenir.
The food itself was all delicious!
I think it would have been better if the service (e.g., coffee and tea at the end of the course, support to make the process smoother not only in serving the food but also in paying the bill, etc.) were better.
I thought it was too much to ask for, but I also thought that I was paying a fair amount, including tip.
I think Jean Georges would have been better overall, even if the number of stars were the same.
